7 of My Favorite Oregon Wedding Venues

Writer's picture: McKenna VillersMcKenna Villers

If you just got engaged, you should know that your wedding venue is one of your most important choices when it comes to your wedding design. Not only will it determine the logistics of your wedding day, but the setting will also impact your photos and the overall look and feel of the day. As a signage artist, I’ve rounded up a few of my faves, whether you’re an Oregon local or one of the lucky brides choosing the PNW for your destination wedding.

#1 Jasper House Farms

This one is an untapped gem! Located just outside the small rural farm town of Pleasant Hill this quaint and charming venue is tucked among local orchards and is the perfect setting if you’re after something that feels cottage-y and rustic that’s NOT a barn. It hits it’s peak in the middle of summer and the grounds come to life among the abundant foliage growing on the property. And the church pews they include?? Don’t even get me started!

#2 Sunriver Resort

Known as a popular summer escape for locals and out-of-towners alike, Sunriver offers an endless list of amenities as a resort AND hosts the perfect backdrop for year-round celebrations in it’s main lodge. In the summer, you can get views of Mount Bachelor right from the ceremony site, have cocktail hour on the patio, and then sit for dinner in the Great Hall, which feels decidedly more luxurious than cabin-esque.

#3 Tetherow Resort

Another popular resort in Bend, Tetherow’s specialty features raw mountain texture with modern accents galore. Another year-round venue, this gem allows seamless indoor-outdoor weddings and screams luxury in every corner.

#4 Sage and Social

If a barn venue is your dream, you’ll LOVE this one. A modern farmhouse design, this black and white barn space features natural wood tones and is a barn venue that is decidedly NOT rustic in the best way. Perfect for that cowboy and cowgirl couple who want to ditch the muddy boots but keep the black hats.

#5 Brasada Ranch

A golf-lovers paradise as many of Bend’s wedding venues are, this location has a decidedly desert feel. A rustic but modern amenity-filled barn overlooks the gorgeous Central Oregon countryside, and the iconic photo locations are too many to count.

#6 Black Butte Ranch

Another resort with 5-star amenities and breathtaking views of the Sisters mountain range. Their newly renovated lodge feels more like something that should belong in Aspen or Vail, boasting tall ceilings and gorgeous finishes…

#7 Oakwood Gardens

One you don’t hear of often, this one is a hidden paradise and is the ultimate luxury garden setting. Known for its hydrangeas and stunning photo locations, this is a blank space that is just waiting for that dream floral-focused wedding day.

While just a tease, and there’s no way to even fully round up Oregon’s best, here are a few to get you started. If you have a killer wedding planning team, they can bring just about ANY space to life, but boy, it helps when you have a good starting point…
