Most Popular Wedding Dates & When To Book Your Stationary & Signage Vendors!!

Oregon sees the majority of our weddings from June to August. You can usually count on a rain-free weekend and our cooler summers compared to other states see less sweltering temperatures that make outdoor ceremonies unbearable.

That being said, here in the PNW we’ve seen a spike in the popularity of fall weddings as our autumns out here have been gorgeous lately with the rain holding off usually until the end of October! Most venues consider "peak season" the end of May to early October.

Here’s a quick rundown of when you should start locking in your signage and stationary vendors. Similar to florists, since we can offer setup and delivery, it means we can only take one date (maybeee two, a weekend!) Invitation-wise, realistically we can only design, print, assemble and mail so many sets in a year!

Save the Dates

Usually you send these out 9-12 months in advance. Closer to 12 if it’s a big destination wedding (like Mexico or Europe!)

When to Book: 12-15 months from your date

Invitations

These are typically sent out 8-12 weeks in advance of your date! Again, hit the earlier side if a lot of your guests are coming from out of state or you're doing any sort of destination.

When to book: 6-9 months from your date

Day-of Signage and Paperie

Usually you want to book this at the same time as invites. If you’re using the same designer they like to know if you’ll be using them for signage pieces as well so they can create accordingly and like to tie the two together. That being said many couples find their stationer too late or just end up wanting custom signage so you can book this one a little later as long as they have your date open still. (It’s not uncommon to see signage dates being snatched a year in advance!)

When to book: 5-12 months from your date
